L.I.F.E. PENCIL PROJECT
L.I.F.E. needs your help for the upcoming “Pencil Project” for the 2009-2010 school year. This is a one-day school supply give-away at the Lawrence County Fair Grounds on August 6 to help those families who are in need of school supplies. With the current state of the economy, they estimate a 10% greater need for supplies this year over last year. They are also in need of volunteers to help out on August 6. Groups are invited to set up booths to help both educate and entertain the kids. Contact L.I.F.E. at 279-4442 if you would like to volunteer or need more information.
